Every great story starts with a single idea. Ours started with a single slice.

In 1991, in the heart of Amherst, Massachusetts, one small pizza shop opened its doors with a simple mission: serve authentic, handcrafted pizza made the right way. It didn't take long for Antonio's Pizza by the Slice to become a local favorite, drawing students, families, and pizza lovers from all over town.

Behind that first shop was our founder, Steve, whose passion for pizza was shaped by his mentor, Bruno. Bruno taught him the traditional techniques, the importance of quality ingredients, and the belief that great pizza is never rushed - it is crafted with care, pride, and respect for tradition.

Those values became the foundation of Antonio's.

As word spread, so did our family. What began as one neighborhood pizzeria grew into multiple Antonio's Pizza by the Slice locations throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island, with our passion for great pizza even reaching Texas and Illinois for a time.

More than three decades later, our commitment hasn't changed.

Every pizza begins with the same dedication to quality that inspired us from day one - from our perfectly crisp crust and rich, flavorful sauce to the fresh ingredients and generous toppings that have become our signature. Every slice reflects the craftsmanship, consistency, and passion that have defined Antonio's since the beginning.

Over the years, that work has been recognized: Food Network named our slice the best in Massachusetts in its 2025 “50 Best Pizza Slices by State,” we swept all three categories at Providence Pizza Week 2024 - Most Delicious, Most Creative, and Most Instagrammable - readers of the Valley Advocate voted us Best Pizza in both 2019 and 2020, and Phantom Gourmet called our Worcester shop “Pizza Heaven.” Even more importantly, generations of customers continue to make Antonio's part of their lives. That support is the reason we do what we do.
